The data used in this research is secondary data in the country of Indonesia in the form of monthly obtained from the Economic and Financial Statistics Indonesia Bank Indonesia (SEKI-BI), Statistics Islamic Banking of Bank Indonesia (SPS-BI), publication data return of sharia in the statement of income distribution Bank Muamalat Indonesia and Bank Syariah Mandiri, the Annual Report section Zakat Department of Religion and the Financial Statements of the few agencies (Badan Amil Zakat Nasional, Pos Keadilan Peduli People, Rumah Zakat Indonesia, BAMUIS BNI, BSM People, Bazda DKI, Bazda BOGOR, Tabung Wakaf Indonesia, Paramadina Wakaf Foundation, zakat and Wallets Dhuafa Forum) as well as data zakat potential in Indonesia in the period between January 2001 to December 2007.
